Did you know that your Arigato matcha hides a well-kept secret? It doesn't come from a giant factory, but from a small family farm in Uji, Kyoto, that has existed since the Edo period.
Why is it different?
- A rare heritage: This family has been cultivating tea for centuries using ancestral methods (like the "Honzu" technique) that almost no one uses today.
- Zero export (except for us!): Normally, this matcha is reserved for the Japanese. It's a real privilege to be able to offer it to you here.
- Stone milled: Each lot is slowly milled on traditional stone mills to retain all the flavor and that incredible green color.
What you will experience:
Forget the bitterness of supermatchas. Here, it's velvet smooth. It's creamy, with subtle nutty notes and an "umami" that lingers in the mouth.
It's more than a drink, it's a piece of Japanese history that you hold in your hands. Thank you (Arigato!) for sharing this adventure with us.
